"No space" when creating LFS in USB, What can I solve that problem

My USB flash disk only has 32M, and I want to create a USB bootable LFS. And I do not want to use any disk in my host computer (because they are not mine).

When I extract the source code, "No space left" error stops me. How can I solve that problem without using the harddisk in computer.

That's a tough one. How much memory does the host computer have? You may have some success attempting to create a ram drive and extracting to that. You'll probably want to look into tmpfs for that. Would the owner of the computer mind if the hard disc was used only temporarily? As I recall from my experiment with LFS, the extracted tarball wound up being a lot larger than the final product.

Ultimately, if the host computer is modern, a ramdrive is probably the best option.

Can I pass parameters when booting from Live-CD? I want to made my ramdisk 512M, but I got 16 ram dev in /dev/ram* and each of them only 4M.

Hrm, I'm not sure. Try looking at the documentation on the LiveCD.
