No "Interface eth0 doesn't exsist"
This is reported on booting up and I dont have any Network,
It was present before I moved Hard drive to another machine
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ymlink-874031/ For Graphic problems.
Code:
Ethernet controller 3com Corporation 3c905c-TX/TX-M
I have redone the kernel and checked that the 3com has A (*) by it.
I have added to /etc/sysconfig/network-devices a new Dir ifconf.ath0 and copied the ipv4 file over, Also added a line DEVICE="eth0"to the ipv4 file, Any more ideas to get network up plz

Hi,
From your lspci output: Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3c905C-TX/TX-M [Tornado]
You enabled
3COM cards , did you also enable
3c590/3c900 series (592/595/597) "Vortex/Boomerang" ? From the help section:
Quote:
This option enables driver support for a large number of 10Mbps and
10/100Mbps EISA, PCI and PCMCIA 3Com network cards:
.
.
"Tornado" (3c905) PCI
.
Hope this helps.
