nf7s mobo + sata hdd & linux boot


At tha moment I got working SuSE 9.1 in my comp. Bcoz of my SATA150 HDD its starting VERY slow - seeking for HDD. Now I making new LFS. How can I make faster startup? No kernel yet compiled (planning 2.6.7).

Remove any unecessary services that start at boot time.. in other words, edit your init scripts. Search, this is not LFS specific to get your existing system to boot faster and asked quite frequently.
