New Linux From Scratch system still using GCC in /tools!

If I rename the /tools dir, the gcc command can't be found.

However, I do a

which gcc

and I get /usr/bin/gcc???? And yet...if I simply rename the tools dir, gcc isn't found

How can I change this? /tools was a temporary directory and should be deleted. Some symlink is borked up somewhere perhaps?

Ok, I fixed it.

For those of you googling for this same error, what I did was merely recompile and make install gcc-3.4.2, as shown from chapter 6!
