Nautilus Optional Dependencies

Hi

Trying to install nautilus here I have the required dependencies
But it asks for Exempi which is "Optional"
I have tried adding --without-exempi but it wont build.
Is there a way to build without optional dependecies.

I used to use nautilus even on xfce as it is one of the better file managers but the gnome dependencies are now just out of control so I have switched to spacefm which is as versatile as nautilus if not more so doesn't have huge dependencies is easily added to via scripts and plug-ins as is nautilus, if you can't sort out nautilus give spacefm a try, home page is here:
http://ignorantguru.github.com/spacefm/

Which admittedly doesn't answer your question but is an alternative:)

Hi

Thks Keith I did know Gnome would be bloated I dont mind the all the dependencies but having to install optional, I just thought it would be good to build gnome for a change.
