No live cd can be run from the cd they dont install anything, put cd in and boot from cd/dvd drive follow on screen to run as LIVE CD not install,
That will run the OS entirely from cd
so i will burn that iso image into dvd then boot that cd into vmware, but it install the debain os right not my old Slackware?
Note always a good idea to have A live media around incase of "Accidents",
I find it better to have a Distro installed on a partition, and build LFS in a 2nd partition, Not use VM

But,is it possible to build LFS on windows operating systems.....?
You must compile drivers for VMWare Bus into kernel(no module). I don't remember what options in kernel config is it, but search in Device Drivers, and you should find something like VMWare Bus Driver.
