Missing ld-new at 6.10

I am at the step for adjusting the toolchain in chapter 6 and it appears that I did not copy ld-new to the /tools/bin directory.
Am I going to have to redo the step for pass 2 binutils (the step where ld-new was copied over)?
Will this mean that I will need to repeat all the steps after that?

As you are at such a low stage of chapter six it would be best to start the chapter from scraatch with a backup of the finished tool chain from chapter 5 ( you did make a backup of the tools folder didn't you? ), mucking up binutils and glibc is a recipe for trouble later on it's better to start them again rather than try and fix them.
