I'm Presently stuck at 6.23. Util-linux-2.23.2
i'm using stable version of LFS
and using Fedora 18

It is written in that chapter before executing make check

Warning

Running the test suite as the root user can be harmful to your system. To run it, the kernel CONFIG_SCSI_DEBUG option for the kernel must be available in the currently running system. The CONFIG_SCSI_DEBUG option must be built as a module. Building it into the kernel will prevent booting. For complete coverage, other BLFS packages must be installed. If desired, this test can be run after rebooting into the completed LFS system and running:

bash tests/run.sh --srcdir=$PWD --builddir=$PWD

chown -Rv nobody .
su nobody -s /bin/bash -c "PATH=$PATH make check"

on running the first command that is "bash tests/run.sh --srcdir=$PWD --builddir=$PWD"
got the following error

[root@localhost util-linux-2.23.2]# bash tests/run.sh --srcdir=$PWD --builddir=$PWD
Tests not compiled! Run 'make check' to fix the problem.
[root@localhost util-linux-2.23.2]#

After running the "make check" and again ruunig the same command
got the following result

AILED (mount/umount-alltargets-all-targets-recursive)

@Sahil95: You misinterpret the warning, this is the relevant part:
Quote:
For complete coverage, other BLFS packages must be installed.
If desired, this test can be run after rebooting into the completed LFS system and running
In other words: Don't run the test at this moment in the build.

I skipped the tests. They aren't actually required to continue onward. Unless it's a critical test such as a sanity check test, chances are it's safe to skip.
