LFS6.3 - Ch5.4.1 "/bin/sh sort not found" error at "make bootstrap"

Hi all,

I'm running off LFS6.3 LiveCDd to build LFS and was following the documentation. At chapter 5.4.1, I got a compile error when I was executing "make bootstrap". It errored out indicating:

/bin/sh: sort: command not found

doesn't the sort command come with the liveCD? I was googling for the source or binary for the sort command but could not find any. Is this because my liveCD is damaged? Does anyone know where to get the command?

sort is in the coreutils-6.9 package

Hi Gerald,

I installed the CoreUtils-6.9 package before pursuing chapter 5.4.1 and "make bootstrap" went through w/o the error.
