lfs x - server

I installed xfree ... as it says in the INSTALL file

u run

make world
make install
make install.man

and ??? then ?????

what is going on ???? It doesn;t say anything about the paths, nothing about the libs...

well it type /usr/X11/bin/xf86config and a few libs are missing...

nice start . . .I hope it does n;t take me 300 days until I install everything...

There an X installation document at http://hints.linuxfromscratch.org/hints/ which works really well for regular X installations (the kind 99 out of 100 people perform).

Next time, please use the LFS mailinglist archives. You wouldn't believe how many times X installations come up on the BLFS lists. http://search.linuxfromscratch.org is your friend to find all you need to know when it relates to LFS.
