LFS SVN takes a lot longer then it should

I decided to use the latest SVN version of LFS: SVN-20090812

But I have noticed that the latest version takes almost 3 times longer then the LFS 6.3 version and that kinda urks me.

I understand that the newest packages are bigger but I am just shocked that it would take that long. :-/

I also noticed that in the SVN version you have to install almost twice the packages then in the 6.3 version. :-/
