LFS-SVN: ncurses doesn't install .pc files?

I am in the process of updating my LFS build scripts to latest SVN. but ncurses "failes" actually there is no error but the .pc files doesn't exist, only the symlinks who are pointing to files that doesn't exist.

if I re-build ncurses after everything else the .pc files is installed.

I am using the build commands from the LFS-SVN book.

This is the problem with using svn/git the latest revision may be broken try updating the repo with
Code:
sv up
If not try rolling back a revision or two this often fixes minor problems

Yes I know, but I like to start with SVN book when I update my build scripts. Anyway I solved the problem. I had no /usr/lib/pkgconfig dir, some other package had broken it.

You need to pass --enable-pc-files to ncurses configure file and pkg-config must be in the path for the files to get installed. If you changed the build order, make sure that pkg-config is built before ncurses.
