lloyd_smart LQ Newbie Registered: Dec 2003 Posts: 24 Rep:	LFS PPC and Yaboot Hi. I'm hoping to build LFS on my Mac, specifically a Power Mac G4. My problem is that I just can't seem to figure out Yaboot, Open Firmware and all that booting stuff. It seems much harder than GRUB on the PC. Can anyone here outline the steps necessary to build and install Yaboot with my LFS installation? No worries if not. I have it working on the PC, so getting it up and running on the Mac is a bit of a pet project really. It would be nice, but it's not essential. I can live with Yellow Dog and Mac OS X.
