LFS portability

Hey All

I am about half way through building my LFS (lots of fun)

I am doing it inside a vmware virtual machine. I am wondering that when I'm done will I be able to use my installation on a physical computer, or since it was built in vmware it will be stuck in the vmware environment.

I know that its possible to extract vmware pcs to physical computers, but will there be problems with LFS since everything was compiled on different hardware?

Yes you can move the LFS from one PC to another (or in your case in VM to native boot)... Just copy all your files to physical hard disk then you're pretty much done... This is how I did it...
Hope this helps!!!
