There is software that can create a cd or a dvd from a hard-disk installed Linux, at least a live-disc and probably a regular install disc too. Google might be a good place to start looking for. I think some distribution's site had a link which referred to one of these tools as that distribution was built with that tool; can't remember exactly which one it was, though, but some relatively new one anyway.
Try Google and other search engines; maybe search terms like "create live dvd" something, to begin with; one of those sites may have information on how to create an installer too.
