The LFS book is all you need..

Have you got a specific problem? Creating a partition or something?

first do a LFS build for yourself, then you might consider creating an own distribution.

Hi,

crashmakerMX is right... you must first build an LFS system for you, and only for you, I want to create not exactly my own distribution, but planly my own system, with optimizations for my 64bit processor, graphics card, and so on...

I'm on the way of my 8th LFS build, this time I'll try to change binutils, glibc and gcc 3.4.2 optimization flags, not recommended by the book, but.. hey, it's worth the try ;)

so be patient on creating the distribution, as you do not only have to make the LFS system, if you want to make some sort of an installation CD, you'll have to create your own scripts for setting up the system and perform the actual install process... long way to go, pal ;)

but I wish you luck, and I hope you tell us about your brand-new-and-rocking distribution as soon as you finish it ;)

greetings,

Julio
