leaving and reentering chroot question

LFS 6.3 stable
If I leave the chroot environment, just long enough to get back to the regular root logon and change a script I wrote, can I reenter the chroot environment without having to remount /dev and the virtual kernel FS?

Just logout of the chroot jail then use the same chrrot command to re-enter. As long as you don't unmount anything, you won't have to re-mount anything.
