Kind of partition ?

this will be my first time to try doing LFS

and hope it will end with the most few problems

this will be my first question ( wait for lots more coming )

what is the best format of the partition which i will install lfs on it
is it ext2 or ext3 or ReiserFS

i think it is a silly Question but i hope to have a clean start

My suggestion(conservative) is to start with ext2 because it is the one the author tested his package. Once you succeeded you can easily changed the lfs partition to ext3 since they are mutually convertible. Stay away from reiserfs for now, it is pretty unstable and some people have had problem with installing lfs( through the mailing list).
