kernel problem in chapter 8.3


I'm trying to install the developement release of LFS... Everything has gone fine until i try to compile the kernel. When I try to 'make' I get:

If you mean "LFS 6.1 Pre 1". Don't do that one. Do a stable one like 6.0.

In fact don't do a "development release" unless you want to help the developers debug it.
