Fine.
Regarding Networking, you might boot into Ubuntu (assume internet available there) and run
it lists your devices and drivers that these devices uses.
Look there what a driver/kernel module in use for your ethernet controller.
Once you'll get it's name, you can run make menuconfig in LFS and search for that module name to enable it.
If you have it already built, may be you need to configure your networking.
