Is anyone else finding $LFS more 'challenging' than they thought it would be?

Learn to use ALFS. Reading and understanding the book is worth a lot. Tuning the resulting minimalistic system is also nice. But reproducing the commands and checking versions adds little to the experience.

I do that and finally arrived at chapter 6.12 ( but i did one Week nothing more on it).
