Question howto remove window borders in gnome

Hi all,
I am a total newbi when it comes to linux,
I have tried many distros, but I liked debian etch the most, although fedora was a much easier to install, nevertheless I installed gnome on debian-etch-kde at first, but It was very limited to add or install new apps, then I found an article here, which explains how to install debian from scratch with netinstal.

I'm very happy to say that I'm having the feeling that I will soon breakaway from MS(Multiple Sclerosis), but then I realized That I still have that disease for the time, and until I fully recover, i need a solution, plus I have few software that runs under xp only like my canon scanner and few hardware, so I;m using realVnc to connect to xp from debian, I have set debian with two displays, I like to use display0 for debian and display1 for xp through the tsclient, with full screen(1), when I do F8 and Full Screen with vncviewer, it spread to both displays, a split window with a black pane on both sides.

I tried few things without success,... remove the borders then maximize the window, but i see no window controls on gnome, gradually I install almost every soft I found on apt-get from net, thinking I'm missing a control, then I installed Kde, now in kde there is a control to remove the borders and the titlebar all together, but I really like gnome better and to be able to do tha same here.

am I missing a control, or is there a configuration file for individual window, or how can I force a window to stay in one display instead of spreading to both desktops in fullScrean.?
can someone help me to resolve this pleaaaaas.

Hello !

For an increased chance of getting an answer, you should post to the right place ... Here is the place reserved for Linux From Scratch (or How to build a Linux system by compiling ALL the sources) ...
