hotplug-ng-002 + LFS bootscripts 3.2.2 = a complete mess :(

Hi,

I've completed the installation of the base LFS system on my laptop, but instead of using the hotplug scripts I've gone for the new hotplug-ng package, and everything is fine, except when I installed the LFS bootscripts, the system encounters several errors at bootup time and at shutdown time...

the errors I encounter are related to the checkfs and S50hotplug scripts, and my question is... isn't there a way to replace those scripts with others with a higher degree of integration with hotplug-ng?

or... also... do I really need to install the bootscripts?

Julio

Well I don't think so. (I don't know)

You could read the errors and then manually edit the "LFS bootscripts".
--Do you mean BLFS bootscripts?

If so, then you won't need some of the them. (depending on what you want)
Some packages depend on them. If not, then you must be installing HLFS.

If you post the errors someone might be able to help debugging the bootscripts.
