Unhappy Help installing tcc on my system

I build a new linux called Chatten Linux--basically
targetted towards recycled pc's.I tried to install
tcc(tiny c compiler)prior to installing gcc,but it installed but it showed linking errors.
tcc -L/lib -lc.2.3.6 simple.c -o simple
I get the output--i get error message undefined symbol
..start .But binary output is generated...but i am
unable to execute it can anyone help............
whats the possible reason...
..plz help ..any way of fixing this
