hard disk requirements?


Hi there i want to know the h/d requirements for build the blfs system properly

Not really, I added 3 gigs to my / partition when I did LFS[5.0]
just to be sure........100+ megs for all the packages and patches, and when you un-tar them into there own directories, they will take up some space.

5gb are enough?

2 GB is plenty for building and installing lfs and (i think) blfs

Hi,

3GB seemed more than enough for me to be able to build my LFS system, and after that, i'm not sure... with the cleanning I think my ending size was around... 1.1GB more or less... but not completely sure

after my latest build of lfs (with cleanup), the size was just over 700 meg with the tarballs _not_ unpacked
