[SOLVED] got error while compiling File-5.13 * Chapter 6.12

can anyone help me?

Looking at the errors I noticed this:

/usr/lib/../lib64/libz.a: could not read symbols: Bad value

Zlib was installed in the previous chapter, are you sure nothing went wrong during that build?

Also have a look here: LFS 7.1 Build: File-5.10 won't compile in step 6.12. Seems to have the same issue and is marked as being solved.

yeah dunna you are right
I fixed it by re installing Zlib, after I posted question here.
Right now I have another problem. I'm trying to fix it

Glad to read you got the file problem fixed.
