GNU Parted on a LFS 4.0 system

Has somebody tried to install and use GNU parted from inside a LFS system (I'm using LFS 4.0 )...

I could install it without problems (I just had install GNU Readline).

... but when I'm using it, Parted gives me a warning telling: "invalidate: busy buffer", but keep runing.

and when you wanna do an operation (I did a resize one), after a while it gives you a "segmentation fault" error.

Can somebody tell me, what's going wrong?

When exactly were you getting the error: "invalidate: busy buffer" ? I'm not too familiar with parted but were you trying to do this on a mounted partition? Maybe that could be the problem and you need to umount it before trying to repartition it?

Let us know if you came up with a solution or resolution to this problem already.

I'm sure that i was resizing a not mounted partition, the odd thing is that after that segmentation fault message, the operation was complete.

Maybe it happend 'cuz I was working on my LFS (LinuxFromScratch) system, I Dunno.
