glibc install problem


When I try and comiple glibc after chroot'ing into LFS I get:

configure: cat command not found
configure: error: GNU libc must be compiled using GNU CC

If cat's not found:

You might have missed textutils

Can you locate cat? textutils is what provides cat, but maybe you missed something else. You also appear to missing GCC, so retry your chrooting. I'd say start chap 6 over again, and go from there. Maybe you missed a vital part.
