Thumbs down glibc error

I have built bootstrap compiler.But when I want to install glibc. I am getting the following error.

To configure glibc:

Code:
$ cd build-tools/build-glibc
$ CC=i386-linux-gcc ../glibc-2.3.6/configure --host=$TARGET --prefix="/usr" --enable-add-ons --with-headers=${PREFIX_TARGET}/include/

Here comes the error :

Code:
configure: WARNING: If you wanted to set the --build type, don't use --host.
    If a cross compiler is detected then cross compile mode will be used.

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
