Hi for some reason I cant install "Fileutils-4.1" here is the make and then the make install error. I also used the patch. And I am using knoppix.

you could do a make -i and see
if most of the stuff compiles.

i've done make -i install
dozens of times, to get a mostly or partly functioning
package.

What versions of bison/flex are you using?
