|
Hi
Being a new user im not sure lfs Is for you. There will be many problems along the way that you will have to fix by yourselg I would get some knowledge about linux 1st |
There is a good reason why LFS has setup a site which lists the prerequisites you should fulfill before you start your LFS build: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/...equisites.html
LFS is a project that shows you the inner workings of a Linux system with guiding you through building a system from scratch. For that learning experience you need to have a decent knowledge about several things, namely those things that are listed on the prerequisites site. If you don't have that knowledge you will learn nothing from LFS besides how to copy&paste commands. I strongly recommend to first learn the basics and than try LFS again. Learn to walk before trying to run. |
