error findutils..


I open my pc . . .logon as root. and run the following command to get chroot

I keep all install files in
/usr/src/lfspackages/ (/my_lfs = /)

chroot /my_lfs/ /usr/bin/env -i HOME=/root TERM=$TERM /bin/bash --login

and then while configuring I get the following errors.. not all . ...

septic:/my_lfs/usr/src/lfs-packages-3.3 # more findutils-4.1/config.log
This file contains any messages produced by compilers while
running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.

configure:548: assert.h: No such file or directory

It looks like either GCC wasn't installed properly. Go back to chapter 5 and reinstall it.
