earlier LFS editions/archive/ftp?

I'm wondering if there is an ftp server or archive for the original LFS builds (particularly the livecd because obtaining the source packages could be difficult for the original or earlier versions). I ask because 6.6 is presenting me with a lot of read/write issues while using the livecd (although I am obviously root and using sudo). This of course makes no sense to me personally.

I was also wondering what the effect of not including SELinux in the LFS build would be? I have absolutely no interest in the enhanced security it might provide, as it may as well have an ESRB rating on it saying 'operating system integrity may vary during online time' if you read the NSA webpage and disclaimer for SELinux.

Gracias.

SELinux has never been part of LFS (or BLFS for that matter).

Hope this helps.
