custom sles11 sha1sum issue
I am creating a custom recovery disc with sles11. Here I am modifying the "rescue" image as per my needs. I am able to boot from the sles11 rescue image and enter to the rescue environment.
problem -------- While I boot in my rescue environment I see a warning message on the screen showing that the sha1sum is not matching for the "rescue" image. The reason for that is I have changed the image,so sha1sum will change. But I am not able to get a workaround for this. I don't want the user of my disc to see this weird message. My question is: 1. Which script or binary actually checks the sha1sum for the files during boot time in sles11? 2. Where the sha1sums for all the files are stored in the system? If I know this, may be I will be able to tweak it. Any help in this regard will be extremely helpful. This is a good challenge for all the linux pros :-) |
Perhaps you should ask about sles in the SUSE forum? This question appears to have nothing to do with LFS
