step 6.27

There's not enough info to give you a specific solution.

- Have you checked and re-checked the previous 2 steps?
- Did you start with a clean source directory?
- Are there any more lines present then the ones shown above?

In general: Please be more generous with your information. Just dumping a handful of lines won't tell us anything.

You might want to re-read these chapters: 1.5. Help and 5.3. General Compilation Instructions

sonik3230 12-29-2013 03:34 PM

could you help, to recheck previous steps, i mean how you mean to recheck them?

Please post the coreutils log here at LQ (use the attach files/Manage Attachments section).

BTW: Have you tried removing the coreutils source directory (/sources/coreutils-8.21) and redo chapter 6.27 from the beginning?

sonik3230 12-30-2013 02:38 AM

dont know what s the problem, had no troubles before, but don know how to solve this one, nothing helps

sonik3230 12-30-2013 02:46 AM

yes, i've tried twice

Ok.

I'll wait until you upload the log file.

BTW: Why the added -j1 option? Follow the book to the letter, especially if this is your first build.

i've used both parametres, i mean kust "make", and "make -j1" the same mistakes

any ideas?

There's nothing in the log file that points to something specific. Maybe the config.log file might have a clue.

Have you stopped and restarted building LFS (rebooted) at any point while building chapter 6? If so:
- Did you redo 6.2.2 and 6.2.3 before entering the chrooted environment as mentioned in chapter 6.4?

Be patient, we are all volunteers here at LQ......

sonik3230 12-30-2013 05:06 AM

yes, but no changes

sonik3230 12-30-2013 05:07 AM

is anyway, to check, maybe i forgot any of components?

Again with the limited information that is provided by you......

- When did you do the above?
- Are you already in the chrooted environment (you shouldn't be)?
- Is this showing up just now or did you have this error before?
- Did you or didn't you reboot when building chapter 6. If so, when?

PROVIDE INFORMATION! We are not psychic.

sonik3230 12-30-2013 05:21 AM

but i found another problem. when i was installing gcc (6.17) i tried to

echo 'main(){}' > dummy.c
cc dummy.c -v -Wl,--verbose &> dummy.log
readelf -l a.out | grep ': /lib'

but there were no result, just nothing, no erors, at all
