coreutils trouble, what to do?

There's not enough info to give you a specific solution.
- Have you checked and re-checked the previous 2 steps? - Did you start with a clean source directory? - Are there any more lines present then the ones shown above? In general: Please be more generous with your information. Just dumping a handful of lines won't tell us anything. You might want to re-read these chapters: 1.5. Help and 5.3. General Compilation Instructions |
could you help, to recheck previous steps, i mean how you mean to recheck them?

BTW: Have you tried removing the coreutils source directory (/sources/coreutils-8.21) and redo chapter 6.27 from the beginning? |
dont know what s the problem, had no troubles before, but don know how to solve this one, nothing helps
|
yes, i've tried twice
|
Quote:
I'll wait until you upload the log file. BTW: Why the added -j1 option? Follow the book to the letter, especially if this is your first build. |

i've used both parametres, i mean kust "make", and "make -j1" the same mistakes
|
any ideas?
|

Have you stopped and restarted building LFS (rebooted) at any point while building chapter 6? If so: - Did you redo 6.2.2 and 6.2.3 before entering the chrooted environment as mentioned in chapter 6.4? Quote:
|
yes, but no changes
|
is anyway, to check, maybe i forgot any of components?
|
Quote:
- When did you do the above? - Are you already in the chrooted environment (you shouldn't be)? - Is this showing up just now or did you have this error before? - Did you or didn't you reboot when building chapter 6. If so, when? PROVIDE INFORMATION! We are not psychic. |
but i found another problem. when i was installing gcc (6.17) i tried to
echo 'main(){}' > dummy.c cc dummy.c -v -Wl,--verbose &> dummy.log readelf -l a.out | grep ': /lib' but there were no result, just nothing, no erors, at all |
