Compiling Binutils on FC6, with bison en flex installed

Hi,

Tried compiling binutils but got the error that yylex was missing. I've searched this forum and the net, and found out that i had to install bison, bison-devel and flex. Installed all three, but still got the same error.
Does anybody has any hints?
Thnx in advance

You don't provide much to go on...like actual error messages.

Did you try to build binutils, have it fail, install bison and flex, then try make again? If so, run the configure script again then try make. If you want a real clean slate, delete the binutils build directory and the source tree, unpack binutils and start again.

yeah, sorry for the lack of information. But your info did help, the problem was just that I had to remove the binutils-build folder before I could retry. I removed it, but then got another error. This one was a conflict between my gcc and binutils 2.16. I used the one from the LFS in development and it worked.
So thanks for the helping hand...
