CLFS Dead?


Is CLFS dead? There have been no updates since Jan the 10th (according to the FTP file dates.)

According to this http://trac.cross-lfs.org/timeline the last change was on march 7th.

That's nearly a whole month! For a basic distribution, I think that's insane!

May be there really aren't any updates to do.

The most of the content is software, they don't update.

Or may be they haven't got the money or the time to do it.
Sending them a pile of money would probably persuade them
to find something to update.

There's lots to update, getting GNAT to work in 32/64 x86_64 mode is a huge one. Slackware is the only one that has done this, and those packages aren't even official.


Even updating the BCLFS wiki could be done, there are a huge number of packages there that need to be finished. it sounds to me that CLFS is dead, I have been working on the same FPS engine for almost 7 years now and I update it frequently, surly more can be done with CLFS.
