Can you burn your LFS to a disc and install it on another computer?

I'm looking to make an LFS system for school but I have to make it at home. I was wondering if after I'm finished if I could add some sort of installer and install it on another computer. It would be like making my own distro but for school.

You can always tar all the files up and burn it into a cd then untar it into your pc. But if you want to make a bootable install disc, its more complicated. Go check out the tips page on linuxfromscrath and you will find a few that teaches you.
Hope this helps.

qwert916, i'm having trouble finding that information on the hints page - could you put up the link for me to see?

Actually I just looked through all the hints on the hints page and found nothing. The closest thing I found was to make it into a live disc.

Ok...
If you manage to build LFS, you surely will know how to tar up files. Just tar EVERYTHING up, then burn to cd(You will need stuffs from BLFS to do that) then untar EVERYTHING to other PC. As easy as ABC ;)
