To shrink your LFS you need several tools. You need to know how to strip libraries and binaries of debugging information as well as utilize tools like UPX to compress binaries down to minimal levels.

LFS isn't for the inexperienced but please do be encouraging and helpful.

Don't want to seem to be getting in your face but as reaper said above please don't be so discouraging, yes LFS takes a bit of work but like all things you get out what put in.

Thnx guys.

At the moment i was reading before about xorg and i decided not to install at the moment.
Anyway the LFS websites states that the system can be shrinked to 200MB. But the information on how to do it is nowhere. Kind of feel disappointing on that.

I tried using fetch mail over hotmail and it doesn't work with Hotmail.Anyone knows how to fix that.
