Unhappy bzip2 install problem


another problem


i got this error when trying to install bzip2


"echo ".so man1/bzdiff.1" > /mnt/lfs/usr/man/man1/bzcmp.1
mv: cannot stat `bzcat': No such file or directory
mv: cannot stat `bunzip2': No such file or directory
mv: cannot stat `bzip2': No such file or directory
mv: cannot stat `bzip2recover': No such file or directory
mv: cannot stat `bzless': No such file or directory
mv: cannot stat `bzmore': No such file or directory
lfs@linux:/mnt/lfs/bin>


can anyone help me plz?

Did you start in the bzip2 directory?

Did the make return with any errors prior to that? Or is that from the make?

Post a little bit more info...

it didn't everything was right until the last step which is about "mv"

the problem was cause that there was an error in the compiling procces

and the solution was to type

make install
and then reinstall it again

have a nice time all
