Building CLFS with LFS?


Is this possible?

build CLFS using LFS

also, you could use just about any linux to build CLFS/LFS etc...

just remember it's far easier to build in a linux environment.
if you build *LFS and the kernel differs then after build kernel you chroot here depmod -a that kernel or your gonna have problems booting it.

Yea but it you have a 32bit LFS build and you want to build CLFS x86_64, I thought this couldn't be done the standard way because of the lack of 64bit support?, especially in stages 6 when everything is actually running on the newly compiled stuff.. since we have 64bit apps but only a 32bit kernel and headers... running (unless we boot into the new system)
