browser choice

What's a good browser to use for LFS? I want to compile everything on the system from scratch and it seems that Firefox's requirements and procedures for compiling are more complicated than one might imagine...

Is it worth the trouble or would it be better to use a browser like "dillo" or "links -g"?

Regards

dillo has limited features, and so does links -g. If you dont mind KDE libraries being installed, try konqueror.

I actually wanted to avoid kde because I'm building a rather minimalist system, using fluxbox (not quite finished installing X though). There doesn't seem to be any middle ground between the likes of dillo or links -g and firefox. I've tried looking, but there don't seem to be too many around. Does lynx have a graphical extension?
