BLFS - rescue


Hi,

Friends,

BLFS suggest us to create a rescue cd, usb drive, etc...

please suggest me some sources to follow...to do that task...

There are a load of rescue distros around I use partedmagic and a rescue/backup-restore partition have a look on distrowatch and try google, there are plenty of choices.

Hi

I just dd ths lfs partition and keep it. I also do this after
building X system

I created an image file of my LFS...using

$ sudo dd if=/dev/sda7 of=/home/project.img

Will use it to recover back when needed

Whether is that useful??

At simple words, I just copied a partition to another partition...
