All file types shown with same icon in Thunar

I have tried a few different icon themes, and it's the same problem with all. All different type of files (.mp3, .iso, .tar.bz2 ...) is shown with the icon of a text file in Thunar. Like there is no file association, so it doesn't know what icons to show. I have installed icon-naming-utils. What have I missed?

Edit: I don't have Xfce, I run Openbox standalone.

if I remember correct you need to install shared-mime-info package, this is needed so Thunar can identify the type of file.

Thanks. That solved the problem.
