64 bit CPU

Just out of curiousity, if you build LFS on a 64 bit arch. CPU, will it be a 64 bit OS? If not is there a 64 bit LFS buildable OS?

It looks like it's basically the same packages with one addition, am I missing something or are these all 64-bit packages?
