[LFS 6.3] Problem with "Re-adjusting the Toolchain

Hi guys,
I've got a problem in that paragraph "6.10 Re-adjusting the Toolchain".
I have to verify if the compiler is searching for the correct header file:

Code:
grep -B1 '^ /usr/include' dummy.log
Now, the command should return:
Quote:
#include <...> search starts here:
/usr/include
But i haven't NO OUTPUT when I do this command.
Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot.

As stated in the book:
Quote:
If the output does not appear as shown above or is not received at all, then something is seriously wrong. Investigate and retrace the steps to find out where the problem is and correct it. The most likely reason is that something went wrong with the specs file adjustment. Any issues will need to be resolved before continuing on with the process.
BTW: Why are you building a very old 6.3 version? Current stable version is 7.4

You should be using the current release book rather than older books to build LFS. Trying to help with bugs for older books isn't really possible.
