Red face Unable to boot RHEL4 on RAID

Hi all,

I have installed RHEL 5, on a server . It consists of 2 SATA HDD(160GB) , on a Hardware RAID.

As, RHEL detects both of the HDD separately(Ignoring the RAID), I went to partition it as follows using SOftware RAID:

disk1,

/
/boot
swap
RAID1 partition1

DIsk2
/ZAMO
/RAID1 partition2

My installation went fine without any issue. When i try to boot, the system failed to load GRUB,with the error
"Error Loading Operating system"

What can I do now?
Is there anything to do with BIOS. Please suggest your ideas?

Did anyone went across this issue before?

Thanks

What kind of raid are you using? Which brand of raid controller? name of mainboard? If you are using ICH9R, please active adaptec raid on BIOS.
