Well that one is the remote server telling your server that the user "srinivasanvi" doesn't exist on the "sify.com" domain and therefor the e-mail address is invalid.

Code:
telnet gsmtp163.google.com 25
It will either connect with a message like "Escape character is '^]'. 220 mx.google.com ESMTP", or error with "connection refused", "no route to host", or something similar.

So your mail server is having troubles connecting to remote hosts - either they don't exist or there is some routing problems upstream (or perhaps even on your box)

That is not a failure message, that is just a deferred notice:
Quote:
Deferred: 421 SMTP service not available, closing transmission channel ... while talking to a.mx.mail.yahoo.com.:
Judging by the following lines:
Quote:
<<< 554 delivery error: dd This user doesn't have a yahoo.com account (jaga_thiru@yahoo.com) [-5] - mta557.mail.mud.yahoo.com
554 5.0.0 Service unavailable
It looks like the problem is on the Yahoo end - nothing you can do about it I'd guess.

Also, please do not send me your same messages via private messages. I can read them here, and so can everyone else who may be able to help or would like to refer to his in future.
