Samba deleting links

Hi there,

just one short question. When I delete a symlink on a samba share from within Windows, not only the symlink is deleted but also all content the symlink points to. Can this behaviour be controlled? "Off course" only the symlink should be deleted but not followed when deleting. The behviour to follow symlinks when BROWSING through the share should off course be not touched, this should be possible (as it is now in my config).

Thanks for your help in advance.

Oli

to my knowledge the only control of this is the "follow symlinks=no" option, but this will universally affect symlinks, so the files will just be useless on the shares under windows
