rpmdb-redhat-4-0.20050525.src.rpm/rebuild error

I'm trying to rebuild with rpmbuild a Red hat source rpm package. I continue to have the same problem each time I try to rebuild th package. Please see below:

rpmbuild --rebuild rpmdb-redhat-4-0.20050525.src.rpm
Installing rpmdb-redhat-4-0.20050525.src.rpm
warning: group buildsys does not exist - using root
Executing(%prep): /bin/sh -e /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.6258
+ umask 022
+ cd /usr/src/redhat/BUILD
+ LANG=C
+ export LANG
+ unset DISPLAY
+ '[' -d '%{rpmdbtree}' ']'
+ echo 'This specfile needs access to %{rpmdbtree}/i386/Redhat/RPMS'
This specfile needs access to %{rpmdbtree}/i386/Redhat/RPMS
+ exit 1
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.6258 (%prep)

RPM build errors:
group buildsys does not exist - using root
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.6258 (%prep)

What I'm I missing here. I admit that I'm new to Linux but thru a lot of effort I'm stuck on this problem. I have successfully build 244 packages to bring my system update to date. I'm just having problem with three remaining packages this being one of them.

Can some tell me what's wrong or point me in the right direction? Is there a website available the deals exculsively with Red Hat packages that I should be using?

Thanks
